Ingredients:
- 1 whole watermelon [my 13 pound watermelon yielded almost 3 liters]
- 1 1/2 Limes
*Chef’s Note: Using a juicer is preferable. However, if you are without one as I am, using a blender and then straining with a cheese cloth or a mesh strainer is just as effective*
Directions:
- Cut the watermelon in to quarters and then cut away from rind. Then cut into smaller pieces to fit into the blender craft and blend. [Since watermelon is about 95% water, it blends easily on its own] Blending will take a few sessions depending on the amount of watermelon and the blender craft size.
- In as many pitchers as needed [I used three], using a cheese cloth or mesh strainer, separate the pulp from the liquid. Divide the juice equally in the pitchers.
